For context, I’ve a LOT of light products in my home; full spectrum ceiling globes, twilight red night lights, amber beacon lights, as well as a SAD lamp, IR full body pod, IR face panel, IR helmet - so I’m very discerning with new additions. This full spectrum lamp has been happily accepted into the family! I like that the last setting used is the first setting activated - so when I turn it on at night to get up to go to the toilet I can guarantee it’s not going to blast white light into my eyes before I get to amber setting (assuming I used amber setting before I went to sleep). If I keep the lamp folded then it only emits a smaller amount of light- again perfect for getting up during the night. I don’t use the red ‘night light’ because I find it’s not that practical because of trying to find its on button - but I just the amber setting in the folded position and that’s fine for me. The hinge arms allow for wake up white light activation to reach across over my face in the morning. Very happy with it 🤗

These give the capacity to alter the light based on mimicking the time of day or just having pure red light at night.

I like to sit at my desk and knit or crochet, and previously had been using a high-end fluorescent crafting lamp that always flickered. I started noticing I was getting headaches from it; plus of course, it was quite annoying :)

I came across Block Blue Light looking for a healthier alternative. I figured one of the BioLights wasn't going to be enough to light up my space, but I ordered one about 5 weeks ago to test it out. Turns out, I'm hooked! But I did need one extra one to balance the lighting and ordered it only a week later; now my lighting is perfect. I LOVE that they are so physically adjustable, so I can put the light right where I want it, and fold them away when I don't need them. I also especially appreciate the adjustable brightness!

And I have to geekily admit, I kinda get excited when it's later in the day and I can progressively change it to less or no blue light so if I'm working on a project until closer to bedtime I'm not disrupting my ability to sleep. I thought knitting or crocheting in the amber light would make it hard to see, but it's been just fine and my eyes feel MUCH less strained than with the fluorescent crafting lamp, and I can naturally wind down as it gets darker outside. A+!!

(And by the way, speaking of bedtime, we ordered 2 Sweet Dreams E12 light bulbs for our bedroom lamps and they're amazing!! So cozy and relaxing and way better than traditional LEDs!)
