This is the exact range of blue and green light shown in scientific studies and trials to lower melatonin levels and lower sleep quality.
Its Not Just Blue...Its Also Green...
Green light is right next to blue light on the visible colour spectrum, this means that the "melatonin disruption zone" also extends into the green light range. Green light up to 550nm at night can also send daytime signals to the brain. For optimal night-time protection we need to remove 100% of blue AND green light up to 550nm.

I really like these blue blocking glasses. Mine are prescription and multifocal, and they work well, especially when watching TV in the dark. It does take some getting used to, but once you’re adjusted, they make a noticeable difference. Not only have they reduced my eye strain, but I’ve also been able to sleep through the night since using them. Highly recommend!

Im sure they are helping. I have no outside light accept for the blue light on the exterior glass walls. My plants tell me there is a problem and I have finally got around to thinking the light might be mine too. The glasses feel as though they have given me better quality sleep and easier falling asleep. I have a small face and find it hard to buy sunglasses at the best of times so the frames are a bit large and the wings too long but I bent them to be a better at least.
