I have purchased this unit and have it in active service for overnight toilet visits to avoid turning other lights on. Based on that use case I would like to see this product evolve to a smarter Gen2 unit:

Add a 3-second fade-in/fade-out to the motion activation for a gentler, less jarring transition when half-asleep; this requires only minimal extra components like a capacitor, a couple of resistors, and possibly a transistor or basic PWM control, adding less than $0.50 to unit production cost with negligible impact on battery life or price.

Extend the light's on-time to a fixed 3 minutes after motion stops for better usability during nighttime movement; the current 800mAh battery could support this with typical low-power amber LED draw without frequent recharges, or a modest upsizing to 1000–1200mAh (still compact) would maintain excellent standby life while adding under $1 to production cost.

Improve the USB-C charging indicator to show basic progression (e.g., via blinking patterns on the existing LED for low/medium/full, or 3–4 simple color LEDs for levels); this uses only a few cents in extra LEDs/resistors, enhancing user convenience without meaningfully increasing the retail price.

Replace the circular magnetic wall mount with a square or keyed shape (e.g., rectangular with notches) to enforce perfect horizontal/vertical alignment based on initial adhesive placement, avoiding time-consuming manual rotation; square neodymium magnets are standard and priced…

Great light and soft glow for the bathroom late night visits. Would be great to adjust the time of the light staying on longer, not having to kick my leg out while peeing. Would also be nice if the shape came in simple square/rectangle as pagan shapes are not my thing, If I place it above the door it looks too much like feng shui. Hence the missing star from 5.

We have a weird little corner in our house that can’t be used for much but storage. It’s an old house, too, and there isn’t much in-room lighting. So we were looking a for a motion sensor light that would turn on when we went looking for something in this corner but one that wouldn’t blind us with bright blue light. This light’s motion sensor works great and the amber glow it gives off is lovely and plenty bright.
